Objectives of Iran's Mineral Processing Research Center
Iran's mineral processing research center is located in Kavosh research town, 60 kilometers west of Tehran, on the Karaj-Qazvin freeway. The most important goals of this center are to conduct mineralogical and chemical studies on exploratory, mineral and ore-arrangement samples, as well as mineral processing research in both laboratory and semi-industrial scales and optimization of processing processes. The laboratories of the center have the ISO/IES17025 standard certificate, and in addition to that, the chemical and environmental, occupational safety and health laboratory has the certified certificate of the Environmental Protection Organization. This center is registered as a processing research center of ECO member countries and is the only laboratory of the industry and mining sector that is a member of the nanotechnology laboratory network.
